Ramyani Roy

Ramyani Roy, hailing from Houston, Texas, has performed choreographic works by Guru Sri Ratikant Mohapatra. She has had various performances throughout Texas, Florida and India. In 2016, she competed in the Odissi International Festival in Bhubaneswar where she received the “Odissi Pratibha” award. Ramyani has extensively performed lead roles in Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra’s production on Vande Mataram, Smt. Chatterjee’s choreography ‘Ye ho Vithala’ in North American Odissi Convention. She has also performed at Kelucharan Guna Keertanam festival in Kolkata in 2017, where the Statesman noted her performance. She had performed extensively with Kalaangan School of Dance at Houston led by Supradipta Datta in the past. Ramyani was featured in Sanonda Dance Magazine of Kolkata, and the Statesman for her impeccable performance. Ramyani, also a musician (Cello player) , joined the company in 2014.
