Sadrita Mondal

Sadrita Mondal, born and raised in Austin, Texas, has been learning Odissi under the guidance of Smt. Aparupa Chatterjee. She has performed at various festivals in the US and abroad. In 2019, she performed in the acclaimed Odissi International Festival in Bhubaneshwar, India. Sadrita has attended workshops with Guru Ratikant Mohapatra and Smt. Sujata Mohapatra. She successfully completed a 3 hour solo recital (Manchpravesh) in 2017. She has been a repertory dancer of Odissi Dance Company since 2017. She has performed in North Dakota, Oregon, Florida, Texas, and India. Currently, she is a faculty of ODC, teaching in Austin, TX. Sadrita has an immense passion for playing the piano and has performed many compositions at Texas Music Association with her ensemble a multitude of times.
